The State of Ohio currently does not require home inspectors to undergo licensure testing to be able to complete home inspections.  In fact, Ohio is one of approximately 18 other states who do not currently require licensure.  However, a bill making its way through the Ohio Legislature may change that.  Top Flight Home Inspections has been monitoring the progress of the bill, attending meetings regarding the development in conjunction with other member inspectors from the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).

Ahead of the Rest – Top Flight Passes NHIE

Today, Top Flight Home Inspections owner, Greg Bryant, took and successfully passed the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE), further differentiating Top Flight from other home inspection companies! While we are currently not mandated to be licensed, we feel strongly that passing the NHIE is in our customers’ best interest and adds to the industry accreditations Top Flight has already achieved.  In addition to the NHIE, Top Flight Home Inspections is state-certified in Radon Testing and Wood-Destroying Insect Inspections (WDI), received extensive training through the American Home Inspector Training (AHIT), and is a proud member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).

Our business continues to grow through referrals, thank you!  Please continue sharing Top Flight Home Inspection’s information with folks looking for a qualified and experienced home inspector.
